Tottenham will face Arsenal in the Carabao Cup quarterfinals at the Emirates on the week of Dec. 17, setting up two North London derbies in the month of December.
Spurs beat West Ham 3-1 at the London Stadium to reach the last-eight, while Arsenal held on to beat Blackpool 2-1 in a match that saw both teams finish with only 10 players.
Arsenal host Tottenham in the Premier League on Dec. 2, meaning the London rivals will meet twice within the span of a few weeks.
Chelsea beat Frank Lampard’s Derby County 3-2 on Wednesday, setting up a quarterfinal showdown with Bournemouth, who beat Norwich City 2-1 on Tuesday.
In the third match of the quarterfinals, Burton Albion — 3-2 winner against Nottingham Forest — will meet Championship side Middlesbrough, who saw off Crystal Palace 1-0 at the Riverside Stadium.
The remaining match is yet to be decided, with the winner of Thursday’s match between Manchester City and Fulham in line to face either Leicester or Southampton depending on who comes out on top of that match, which was postponed following the death of the Foxes’ owner in a helicopter crash on Saturday.
All of the matches will be played during the week of Dec. 17.
